BOOBS & BLOOMS
boobs & blooms - analog - work in progress
These images are part of an ongoing photographic series.
A study of the diversity of the natural female body. By focusing on women's breasts—often reduced to objects of desire—I seek to restore a sense of dignity, complexity, and individuality to what is too often commodified or idealized.
By deliberately removing identifying features, I shift the viewer’s attention from personality or identity toward form, texture, and presence. This choice is essential to the project’s mission: to resist the sexualization of the female body and instead present it as something real, human, and deeply varied.
All bodies of the women in my series, stand far outside mainstream standards of so-called perfection—yet are, in themselves, profoundly perfect.
Each image becomes a small act of resistance and reverence, challenging visual norms and offering a broader, more inclusive representation of beauty.
This work is not just about what we see, but how we see. It asks us to look again, more gently, and with more curiosity, at the bodies we inhabit and the ones we too often overlook.
Over 30 women between the ages of 18 and 86 bared their beautiful breasts and let me photograph them in their unique natural form. An exhibition and a book are in progress!
All images were captured on analog film.
